Giving back to his hometown
A Highland High School graduate, Dr. Schmidt earned his doctorate at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. While in Kentucky, he met his lovely wife (and fellow dentist), Dr. Tara Mattingly-Schmidt. Licensed to practice in Arizona since 2010, Dr. Schmidt has been thrilled to call the East Valley “home” again. He and Tara balance the responsibility and privilege of caring for the community’s oral health needs while looking after their own growing family.
