Reviewing Dr. Wanwan “Grace” Zhang, DDS, for front-tooth crowns. The visit felt rushed with limited verification of fit/contour and bite before cementation. Afterward, my right front tooth (a live tooth) developed significant hot/cold sensitivity, and I could feel a ledge on the back side near the gumline.
At follow-up, my questions and photos were dismissed and I was told the crowns were “perfect,” without a clear plan to address the issues. In my experience, she became defensive when I raised concerns. Ultimately, Dr. Zhang ended the provider–patient relationship rather than working through a resolution.
I was not offered an unconditional full refund for all related fees, and refund processing was conditioned on signing a broad release/indemnification agreement “as is,” including a non-disparagement/online statements section that, in my view, discourages patients from speaking publicly about their experience. I would not recommend Dr. Zhang for detailed front-tooth cosmetic work if you value careful checks and collaborative communication.
