Dr. Davis was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and is a product of Brooklyn Technical High School. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina, and went on to earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.

He started his career practicing as a general dentist in Virginia, and after five years, he returned to New York City to train as a pediatric dental specialist at the New York University College of Dentistry.

Outside of the office, Dr. Davis dedicates a portion of his time volunteering at events organized by Give Kids a Smile and MyFace organizations. He is also a yearly participant in career day at Democracy Prep in Harlem, New York.
