Dr. Jamie Chan received her BA degree in Chemistry from Binghamton University in 2007. She completed her doctorate at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine in 2012 and finished her General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital in 2013.

In 2014, Dr. Chan joined the Air Force Reserve as a dental officer. She was awarded The Air Force Achievement Medal in 2017 for her outstanding achievement as a dentist. While deployed to Alaska, she and her team provided exemplary dental care services to 13,120 indigenous Alaskan natives in the remote villages of Akhiok and Kodiak. In 2018, she was named Company Grade Officer of the Quarter for her exceptional performance in patient care and providing streamline processes to improve unit readiness.
