MEET DR. PAT
As a board-eligible endodontist, Dr. Patrick Ng-A-Fook (affectionately known as “Dr. Pat” to his patients) proudly brings world-class specialty care to the patients of Lower Manhattan. He is an expert in providing comfortable root canal care, including root canal therapy and other endodontic surgeries, and is the specialist entrusted by patients and general dentists alike. Dedicated to doing everything he can to save natural teeth, Dr. Pat utilizes that newest technologies to provide precision, minimally invasive care, and relief for patients suffering from pain and other symptoms of infected teeth. Always the consummate professional, he is known for his gentle yet thorough approach to restoring oral health and wellness.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Dr. Pat first started on his path to becoming a dentist at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. After earning a bachelor’s degree in economics and minoring in business, he went on to complete his formal dental training and education at the Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Dentistry in Richmond, VA. Dr. Pat then attended the nationally recognized Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at Langone Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, affording him the opportunity to further develop his clinical skills and expertise in modern dentistry. Discovering his passion for endodontic care, he later returned to Langone Hospital to achieve his certificate in the dental specialty of endodontics.

SPECIAL INTERESTS
Remaining an active member of the dental and specialty endodontics communities is extremely important to Dr. Pat. He maintains professional memberships with the American Association of Endodontics, New York State Dental Association, and the American Dental Association so that he may continue to bring excellence in endodontics and general dentistry to patients of PDADental. During his free time, Dr. Pat enjoys traveling to explore new places and spending quality time with his family.
