Tamar Hoff-Nir grew up in Israel and immigrated with her family to lower Westchester, NY at age 12. She received her BS in Biology from The University at Albany and earned her dental degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed a residency at Columbia University School of Dentistry and The Presbyterian Hospital.
Since the start of her practice of general and cosmetic dentistry in Manhattan, over 25 years ago, she has completed countless hours of continuing education from various post-graduate institutions to enhance her expertise and skills. In addition to her love for restorative, reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry, her expertise expands into Invisalign clear aligner therapy, root canal therapy and implant restorations. This continual commitment to training and keen attention to detail allows her to incorporate the latest advances in dental technology into state-of-the-art dental care. Dr. Hoff-Nir derives great pride and pleasure by treating her patients like friends and family. She is compassionate and explains procedures to her patients while providing each one with a unique and positive, prevention focused dental experience while making a difference in their lives
